Last semester was intense. Along with working a couple part-time jobs and working on side projects, I took my first online MFA class and attempted to maintain a regular studio practice for school. My mentor, Janet Niewald, guided me in the process by having conversations with me about my work, asking me questions, making suggestions, giving me small assignments, and referring me to artists like Piet Mondrian and Sean Scully.
One of my goals for this Spring semester is to plan a little less and produce a lot more. Over the last semester, I listed so many thoughts and ideas, but only got around to implementing a few of them. Here are some of the pieces I started/finished/worked on:
